A photographers proposal and lots of web attraction!

A couple of weeks ago we did a vintage photo shoot with Emily Quinton. After we had done our modelling and she had got the photos she was after we turned the cameras on her! Emily had been thinking for a while about proposing to her partner Stefan and the vintage shoot turned into the perfect opportunity to take some photos. From leaving the shoot to proposing changed from a matter of months, to weeks, to days! For Emily version of events check out her blog and also for Stefs response!
Thank you so much Emily for letting us capture such a special occasion and for letting us be apart of the excitement. We are very much looking forward to your big day :D x

These set of photos have been so great for us and have been blogged on numerous blogs including Emily Quintons (of course!), Love my Dress and Paige on events. We have also had a selection of photos from our Vintage shoot with Emily blogged. Check out Miss Pickering and My Vintage Party for more of our work :D

Scrumptious bundle of joy!

We were very chuffed to meet the very little Matilda Jovee (Jovee = joy!) the other day. At 4 days old she was completely perfect. Huge congratulations to Steve and Jo! Quick message for Matilda... You have the most amazing parents. They are fun, they are uber-cool and they are going to teach you the most amazing things about life and how great it can be! God bless you little lady and enjoy your Mum & Dad! x

Relocating our business - An interview with The Photography Parlour

A few weeks ago we were interviewed by The Photography Parlour, a new on-line blog for aspiring pro photographers. It is jammed packed full of advice and experience from a range of pro-photographers from across the UK and the world. Our interview was based around our experience as a photography business as we relocated from Oxford to Pembrokeshire. Click here to read our interview and to learn more about "o&cPhotography". We are really enjoying reading and learning more from The Photography Parlour as people already in the business, but this is also a great place for anyone seriously considering beginning a business in this field. Happy reading! x

Vintage caravaning!

What a treat! Last weekend we had the privilege of doing a photo shoot in "our" wedding attire. Our photographer was Emily Quinton, a great friend (school friend from when I lived in Birmingham x c) but also our original wedding photographer from when we got married (nearly 4 years ago). Our wedding was the first she had done and since then she has gone on to win awards and has now moved to London. Emily asked us if we would be up for being involved in a Vintage Caravan shoot. Of course, we jumped at the chance! We brought along our cameras too, as Emily had asked for some photos. Here is a selection of photos from our cameras. The gorgeous caravan is available on a hire out basis and is from "My Vintage Party", just ask for Lola (the caravan)! The completely stunning flowers are from the very talented Miss Pickering and made such gorgeous props, of course we had to capture images of them. We truly loved this experience and wanted to share our work with you. To see the photos Emily took of us, check them out on her blog! x

Just the 3 of us!

What an honour to capture the very precious time of pregnancy. With only 6 weeks to go, Charlotte has a beautiful and very neat baby bump. Phil and Charlotte were keen to get out to the sea for some photos as they live in Bournemouth and are regular visitors to the sea for a spot of wind surfing and kite surfing. We dont have any photos of these particular activities although Owen and Phil did partake in some in between our photo shoots! With the stunning carpet of celandines in our garden and the beautiful Pembrokeshire sun pouring down we were so chuffed with the perfect day we had. Phil and Charlotte do not have a name for their baby "boy" yet, but we are hoping that they can be persuaded in to calling him "Elvis"! We are very excited for you both and look forward to meeting "Baby Elvis!" in a couple of months. God bless you and thank you for allowing us to capture images of you both at this special time in your lives x

The day they tied the "Knott"...

You can never guarantee good weather in Spring and West Wales, but the weather for this wedding was nothing but perfect. Sam and Katie (Knott) married at Broad Haven Baptist Church in Pembrokeshire, with their reception at Cuffern Manor. Being a Welsh wedding there were plenty of stunning daffodils and spring flowers (thanks to Katies mum, who grew most of them in her garden) adorning the church, reception and displayed in the stunning bouquets. Katie wore amazing green shoes, which matched the stunning bridesmaids. Sam with his dreads oozed coolness with his posse of grooms men (some of the most helpful we have ever worked with...thanks so much guys!)You cant really do a coastal wedding without visiting the beach. We drove down to Nolton Haven for the beach shots and were lucky enough to have some stunning early evening light and an empty beach. Both Sam and Katie are both beach lovers, spending many a day surfing and having fun in the sea, so this location was perfect to capture this side of their relationship.Mr and Mrs Knott we wish you so much happiness in your new life. Thanks for a truly awesome day x
