FAB Warrell: By far, our best ever on-going project!

Three hundred and sixty five days ago today we were told March 8th 2012 was the estimated due date of our first child. "Wibbly Warrell" as the bump was affectionately called was very much a large round wriggly bump by this point and we were pretty much ready and raring to go. Not desperate, but getting there! We went for a walk up to some beautiful woods, took photos of each other, popped to Narbeth for our favourite custard slice and even did a bit of furniture and car shopping, as you do! We didn't have a clue when our lives would change forever, but less than 24 hours later from the point this first photo was taken, we became parents for the first time to our very beautiful, very cute and incredibly funny little girl.
Florence Ava Betsi Warrell (named after Owens grandmother Florence) born just 2 hours and 21 minutes over her due date! (get in!) arrived into the world 6 hours hours after her waters broke all over our living room floor, on March 9th 2012. (I remember it like it was yesterday! What we were eating, what we were watching on TV!)
We had truly the most amazing care at Withybush Hospital, Pembrokeshire. A relatively easy delivery, with incredible midwife led care & a brief stay in hospital while Florence decided whether she was going to feed or not!
Then the fun began. There are enough photos here to share with you and if I'm truly honest, I'm finding this all rather emotional. There are however so very important people we need to thank for the past year. Pappa Dave, Nanna Chris, Tadcu Gary & Mamgu Sian, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, support and care you have shown Florence while we have been shooting weddings. Thank you for the way you love Florrie and us both. You're appreciated more than you know.
Thank you to Florries one and only Auntie Cezzie.... you rock her world! Thank you to her four gorgeous uncles, Uncle Dan, Uncle Tom, Uncle Rhys and Uncle Lloyd. We know she has melted your heart, you big old softies! :P She loves you all!
Thank you to her fabulous Great Grandparents Bry and Nan and to her Great Great Auntie Dilys too.
Hugest of thanks must also go to all our friends from far and wide who have taken the time to love us and love Florrie in her first year. The list is pretty much endless, but we truly hope you know who you are and how deeply we love you.

The biggest thanks must however go to you, Florence/Florrie/Flossie/Flo/Flossy-chops etc, etc
"Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for filling our life with endless joy, fun, laughter and new daily experiences. Words can not really express the joy we feel having you in our lives. You are pretty awesome little lady. You're one clever clogs, walking so early, chatting, dancing to any sort of music, knowing exactly what you like and what you don't like (sometimes a little stubborn! ). Thank you for the brief, but lovely cuddles and the open-mouthed kisses. We can not wait to see where life takes us with you by our sides and we thank God every day for the true blessing he has given us in you. We hope one day you too know the true joys of parenthood and are blessed with amazing friends and a love and trust in God for his provision and grace over your life.
Today you are "the baby who is zero!" and tomorrow you will be one and we begin a new chapter, the next chapter in your life.
We love you now and always, for the little lady you have developed into and the beautiful little girl you are becoming. Always yours x x x Daddy and Mummy"

So, here we go, a brief selection (well, not really, but hey, we are more than happy to super-blog this one!) of photos from the first year of our beautiful daughters life.

Florence: derived from the Latin verb floreo, meaning "I flower",...
Ava : derived from the Latin meaning "like a bird"
Betsi: derived from the Hebrew "My God is a vow"

By far, our best ever on-going project!  X o&c
