Honoured and privileged : Some good old bloggage love!

Its such a privilege to have your work featured on wedding blogs and we know what a buzz it gives our clients to see their days out there as inspiration.
We have been featured on many a blog recently and wanted to give a big shout out and thank you to those bloggers who have chosen to share our work and our clients weddings/e-shoots with their followers.
All of these blogs are so highly recommended and so good at what they do. They share weddings in such an approachable and open way. Each blog is very different to the next and have a niche market, from UK to the US, national and global, they share weddings, trends and styles, along with personal opinion.
We feel so honoured that our work has been seen by both people near and far and know that many a photographer feels the same. Blogs are an incredible tool for getting your name known and work seen and we would not be in the position we are now in if it wasn't for the opportunities we get to share our work. We have had enquiries from across the UK because of our blog features and have booked many a beautiful wedding day (yay!)
Thank you bloggers! Now here are a hand full of the blogs we have recently had the pleasure of being featured on. Please follow the links, read the whole posts and leave some love too. Couples love to see what others think, as do we. Makes many a face smile, believe me! x x o&c

Barn wedding in rural Oxfordshire.

This had to have been one of the weddings we were most excited about this summer. It had been booked in our diary for over a year and we were anticipating great things! We were far from disappointed! Nick and Ruth got married in an outdoor wedding ceremony at the very quaint and lovely Friars Court in Oxfordshire. Nick and Ruth are both teachers and met at the school that they both teach at in Cowley, Oxford. As teachers their planning was exceptional and the wedding went like clock-work, even down to the weather. We have known Ruth for about 5 years, so this made this day even more special. Ruth got ready in the wedding suite at Friars Court, while Nick, in true groom fashion had settled his last minute nerves with a swift pint at the pub down the road. Ruth's dress was very eye-catching with its royal blue sash and beaded detailed waistband. It fitted her like a dream and she looked so amazing it brought a tear or two to my eye. Friars Court totally suited the feel of the day with its quaint bridge and orchard, which was decorated with lanterns and hearts. We would certainly recommend this venue. It boasts style and professionalism.
After an emotional, yet really lovely and relaxed ceremony all the guests enjoyed the grounds of the court and had a game of croquet, before making their way over to the stunning barn reception. The decor was immaculate with butterfly, heart and orchid details adorning the building.
We had the true pleasure of being able to sneak the happy couple away for their own photos and we were delighted that the corn field was at its peak. We had noticed it when we had done our recce and we were fingers-crossed all the way that the corn would still be there. There was really so much goodness and fun at this wedding and it really was a joy and pleasure to witness two lovely people tie the knot, but also to capture their perfectly planned day. All day Nick and Ruth were commenting on how well it went and we couldn't have imagined it to have been any more perfect. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your day. You are such a great pair! x

We thought we would sneak in this photo of the 4 of us but also couldn't resist showing you photos of some of the main residence of Friars Court. To be honest, we were totally amazed when we met Moo the Cat. He has to be by far the biggest cat we have ever seen and he had no qualms about spending most of the day sprawled out on a chair. A very chilled and relaxed pair of " extra" guests!

If you like what you have seen please continue looking through our blog and venture on to our website here at www.oacphotography.com and please leave your commments too. We love to hear from you x o&c
