Sun set shoot - Photo swap #3 {Owen}

Ok, so after a tasty pizza lunch at the PiantWorks we all jumped in the cars and raced off to the location for the second shoot. As before, we got into pairs and Ca and I got the awesome Del and Shella de Mar.

Shella is a rocking photographer and her images are as stylish and cool as she is. Her and her husband where a joy to be around all day and to get to shoot them together was amazing. We tried to squeeze in a few more shots before the winters sun set on what had already been a really fun day. As Ca and I shoot as a team, sometimes I take the chance to have a play with something a bit more weird. Knowing Ca would be getting great shots I grabbed my fish eye and had a go at shooting wide, very wide.

It was pretty cold by the time we stopped shooting but eeking out the last of the light was worth it, thanks guys.

Big thanks again to Rosie for sorting it all out and organising a great day out with fab people. Here are the photos of Jules and Shane from earlier in the day in case you missed them.

A feast for a Captain! (The Photography Parlour g2g)

One of our first wonderful experiences during the g2g was the stunning captains table aboard the Harmony II Yacht. It had been lovingly set by a number of very talented and truly lovely women, who all gave their time and skills for free (Thank you much ladies!x)
Here are the links to all those wonderful people who made the captains table such a feast for the eyes and a joy to photographers.

It is such a joy to be able to take photos of details and to capture beauty in flowers , food and crockery. We, at o&c Photography really love detail and thrive from capturing all aspects of an occasion. When preparing weddings and parties, details make such a difference to the overall look and feel. Consider themes, colours and special features to make your day different from the rest!

A stunning vintage wedding

We has the pleasure of watching our friend Matt marry Rachel a couple of weeks ago and took our cameras along, as we normally do. The vintage style wedding was truly stunning and a real feast for the eyes. Rachel wore an authentic vintage dress and had made such a huge effort to make her vintage dream come true. The reception venue was the beautiful Aberglasney gardens and they were in perfect spring bloom. The marquee was adorned with vintage bunting and every aspect of the wedding was perfect. Old fashioned sweets with old-style paper bags, vintage crockery and frames with table numbers and the most beautiful bouquets, filled with peonies, bulb hyacinths, hydrangeas and roses. It really was such an honour to be a guest at such a stunning and well designed and planned wedding. Congratulations to Matt and Rachel and thanks for letting us share in your day! x

A photographers proposal and lots of web attraction!

A couple of weeks ago we did a vintage photo shoot with Emily Quinton. After we had done our modelling and she had got the photos she was after we turned the cameras on her! Emily had been thinking for a while about proposing to her partner Stefan and the vintage shoot turned into the perfect opportunity to take some photos. From leaving the shoot to proposing changed from a matter of months, to weeks, to days! For Emily version of events check out her blog and also for Stefs response!
Thank you so much Emily for letting us capture such a special occasion and for letting us be apart of the excitement. We are very much looking forward to your big day :D x

These set of photos have been so great for us and have been blogged on numerous blogs including Emily Quintons (of course!), Love my Dress and Paige on events. We have also had a selection of photos from our Vintage shoot with Emily blogged. Check out Miss Pickering and My Vintage Party for more of our work :D
