If someone asks you if you wanted to go kite flying you might think of running around a field frantically holding a piece of string attached to a diamond shaped thing that is more attracted to the floor than the clouds. Well you couldn't be more wrong!
On a secret hill, in a secret location, with some people who may or may not have existed I was introduced to Power Kiting. The wind was blowing a steady 20mph and the kite was a mere six meters (which I was assured was "small") Jon (possibly not his real name) turned my understanding of kite flying upside-down.
On a safety note. Jon is very experienced at kite flying so if you want to try power kiting look for a local club and DON'T try it alone.

The Abbey Road
Minster Lovell Abbey was a perfect back drop for a portrait session. Gee and Mel were brilliant models and to add to it all they are now getting married so this turned into a pre-engagement shoot. Many congratulation to you both.
We now have the privilege of doing their wedding pictures in mid October.
