A 1st Class wedding!

We couldn't resist showing you some of these photos from a truly "1st Class" wedding we did a few weeks ago. We were honoured and privileged to capturing images for the wedding of James and Rachael Stamp. The wedding was held at a stunning church in the small town of Adderbury, with the reception at the very lovely Great Barn in Aynho, Oxon. There was so much fun, laughter, joy and blessing at this wedding and it shone from James and Rachael's faces all day. We happen to be good friends with this couple too, so it had added special meaning for us, even behind the cameras. I have to admit, I shed many a tear while taking these photos and while processing too. Mr & Mrs Stamp, we salute you! We love you guys and are so incredibly happy for you both, knowing you have one awesome future ahead of you. For all you friends and family of the happy couple you will have to hold on to your hats before you see any more photos as they are on their own private gallery. Hope you have enjoyed a sneak pre-view nevertheless! x

New little Woolies

Its amazing how a change of season brings so much new life. We hang out regularly on our friends farm and its been awesome to see the new lambs appearing in the field. Owen has been helping with a few troublesome ewes and has been on regular lamb patrol too. We have both had the chance to wonder around the field looking at the new lambs and couldn't resist taking our cameras. Its not a regular pastime in city living...It definitely is a perk of country life. Spring is good! x

And the award goes to...Spring!

Well, on a day like this it really is only right that we show off some images of the beautiful new season of "Spring"! At times its felt like it would never arrive, but on a little walk around our garden today, its obvious it really is making a glorious appearance! Daffodils, buttercups, blue sky and birds (ok...seagulls) singing! Its looking like a great start to the week. Lets hope so as we have a Spring wedding this weekend in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire. Hope Spring has won your vote wherever you are today! x

Whole lotta Mummy LOVE!

Its always important to remember the precious gift of having a loving mum. Both of us are so blessed! (Thanks Mum & Mum!) This Mothering Sunday we had prepared a little treat for one of our special friends with three wonderful children. While Lucy was working hard in her garden we did a secret photo-shoot with them. With some yummy LOVE biscuits and other LOVE props we had fun capturing her three lovely children. Well done to all our amazing "Mummy" friends and to all of our friends who are to become mothers this year (of which there are MANY!!!) x

Pembrokeshire Wedding Fair 2010

Here are a few shots of our stand from the Pembrokeshire Wedding Fair which we were involved in on Sunday. We had a great, positive experience and loved meeting potential clients, hearing about their plans and showing them our work. We were pleased with the fabric and lamp, creating a "living room" feel and next time we think a chaise-lounge might be in order! We made some new contacts with some great photographers and some other local wedding businesses.

One thing that we always love about wedding photography are the details that can easily go unnoticed. Shoes, jewellery, favours and flowers. Opposite our stand was a florist "Pink Orchid" They had such a lovely range of flowers and had a great contemporary approach to their work. the hydrangeas were particularly appealing to us as they remind us both of special welsh relatives!

Hens, Wellies and Brollies

After a very lovely meal with plenty of chit-chat, giggles and special memories I headed on down to Blenheim Palace, with a group of Hen's for a photoshoot. It wasnt the sunniest of days, but the wellies, brollies and laughter brightened up the day and certiainly helped make some special photos. We are very excited and blessed to be photographing the wedding of James and Rachael in a couple of weeks. Thanks Rach for being such a great friend to us both. You are both very special and we are honoured to be sharing in your big day! x
