So, I just spent the last 3 days as one of the official photographers of the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society Annual County Show. It rained and I stood in cow, horse, dog, sheep, pig, goose and possibly dragon poo. The weather and the excrement aside, my three days in the world of farming were great. The people have a real love and understanding of animals and nature. There is a tension of new and old, of tradition and progress. Without the care and commitment to their trade which is a complete way of life, our plates, countryside and lives would look completely different.
