Aaron and Nerys: A Welsh Lighthouse Wedding Celebration

Man, this wedding was fun! So much beauty, so much thought and effort to make this as unique as Aaron and Nerys.
When you drive to a getting ready venue you always hope its going to have enough light and space and also, maybe even some nice features. Nerys got ready at the gorgeous Sutton Mawr Farm (bit in love with this place) She was so chilled and although there were little people appearing in every nook and cranny it was a beautifully relaxed and happy time.
We then all headed to their "first" ceremony. The reason for this was quite simple. They had their wedding ceremony in a lighthouse. Amazing!!!! It was brilliant, if just a little cosy! Nash Point lighthouse was a perfect setting for an intimate ceremony, with just a handful of close fmaily and friends sharing in their wedding. It was a bit of a squeeze up in the lighthouse, but was special and a really lovely time. Plus, possibly the most hilarious exchanging of vows we've ever seen. Pure laughter throughout... priceless! After all the formalities Aaron and Nerys had put on the most perfect spread of fish and chips for their guests. Yum!
The second part of the wedding celebration was for those many friends of both Aaron and Nerys who, without a doubt, could not ave fitted into the lighthouse. Their second ceremony and their wedding breakfast was held at Rosedew Farm. Yet another truly gorgeous venue. We were pretty spoilt to be honest! They walked in to the sound of a gorgeous welsh male voice choir singing Calon Lan ( a total surprise for Aaron!) Their second blessing was again, full of joy, laughter and giggles!
Carrying on the lighthouse theme, Nerys's mum had made a beautiful lighthouse wedding cake, while all the table décor was based around sea molluscs and plants.
In keeping with the beautiful billy ball yellow bouquet and button holes we were able to sweep these guys away and do their couple shots with a perfect yellow rapeseed field sitting perfectly in the back ground. Again, we laughed... a lot! To be honest, every aspect of this wedding was pure fun!
You guys really did make our job a true and utter delight and we feel so honoured to have had the chance to share in your amazing wedding day. Thank you so much and really looking forward to seeing you and little one very soon x x o&c

I was at this wedding visiting from America. You captured it amazingly well. I'm only upset that no one ever showed me these pics and it took some clever google-fu to find these.
I remember talking to the male photographer about his new Fuji x cam he brought as a secondary camera.
