Buttercups a plenty!

So, when we were contacted by Laura asking if we could capture her family as a Fathers Day present for her husband Paul, I was really excited. Before going full time with Photography, I (Charis) was a full-time teacher. Laura and Pauls eldest daughter was in my class and I had also taught their son. It was so exciting to see them again, they truly are a gorgeous family. I had really hoped for good weather and had an idea in my head of what I envisaged from the shoot. After chatting to Laura I realised that our ideas were the same! Good start! I had an idea of where we should go, but as we no longer live in Oxford, it was a chance of luck that the field I was hoping to go to would be full of flowers. As we drove around the corner I was so chuffed! Whoopeee!!! buttercups galore! It was so stunning and a true find.
Since I last saw Laura and Paul and their family they have a new baby son, so they really wanted photos to capture their whole family, with focus on the children. As usual I had a few props, which ended up being very useful as we did have a couple of moans and groans from the children, but they really worked well with the camera and made the job easy and very much fun!
Thank you so much guys for letting us capture your gorgeous family and thank you for being so up for playing in the beautiful buttercups! Big love from us x o&c
